You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites. See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore He would give to your fathers (Deuteronomy 1:6-8).
It’s time to move forward and claim the land that the Lord has given you. But how do you take possession of your inheritance? Do you march in like the warriors of old, donning your breastplate, sword, and helmet to go into battle? While things are quite different from those ancient times and you aren’t expected to fight physically for your land, job, or opportunities, one thing remains certain: the Lord has granted you possession of your inheritance.
To claim what is rightfully yours, you must turn to prayer and spiritual warfare, with some spiritual principles, such your Word studylifd, obedience, sacrifice and the prophetic. For today, we will take note of some Spiritual weapons that can help you in the battle. Put on your breastplate and helmet, take up your sword, and engage in battle within the spirit realm to secure your inheritance.
This is what the Lord said: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil.” (Ephesians 6)
To be fully prepared for this battle, we must stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around our waist, for we shall know the truth, and it will set us free—the truth of the Word of God. Next, we wear the breastplate of righteousness, which serves as our defense; our righteousness does not come from the law but through faith in Christ. You also need to be obedience to the principles of God. Our feet should be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
We are to take up the shield of faith, which we can use to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Then, we put on the helmet of salvation and wield the sword of the Spirit, praying in the Spirit and recognizing that this battle is spiritual and must be fought in God’s strength, relying on the Word of God.
Go out and take possession.
Remain blessed.
