Today is the day that the Lord has made; we should all rejoice and be glad in it. Speak into today to bring good tidings to you and your family. The Bible says, “You shall decree a thing and it shall be established, and light shall shine upon it.” The words of your mouth are powerful; they can penetrate the innermost part of your being. Start today to decree a New Thing.

Arise and shine, for His light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. In the Bible, when Lazarus had died, Jesus went to his tomb and commanded him to “Come forth.” He essentially told him to arise. Why? Because His light, which is Jesus, has come. You can speak into every dead situation to bring it back to life, no matter how hopeless it may seem. Lazarus was dead for four days, already smelling and wrapped in grave clothes, but when the words were spoken, he was given life. The word of God is powerful; it is sharper than a two-edged sword.

Just as Jesus instructed them to remove Lazarus’s grave clothes, you need to shed old thinking, old mentalities, and old behaviors. Clean yourself up and wash yourself clean with the word of God and the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit, because the glory of the Lord is upon you.

The whole creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. You are a child of God, so today, arise and shine, for His light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Make today the ‘Day One’ when you start making progress, and stop the ‘One Day’ attitude.
