From Head to Toe
Pray for Their Mind and Thinking
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Lord Jesus, I thank You for wonderfully creating my child—unique, purposeful, and perfectly made. I pray that You will grant him clarity of thought and wisdom in every area of his life. May his mind be sharp, discerning, and filled with insight. Let him be a problem-solver, equipped with answers and guided by Your Holy Spirit.
May he make wise decisions, seek You for direction, and understand the divine purpose You have placed on his life.
Pray for Their Eyes
Matthew 6:22-23 – “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness.”
Lord Jesus, I pray that my child’s eyes will remain fixed on You. Protect him from distractions and the lust of the eyes. Enlighten the eyes of his heart, so he may know the hope to which You have called him and the riches of Your glorious inheritance. May he see what is true, pure, and lovely.
Pray for Their Ears
Isaiah 55:3 – “Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live…”
Thank You, Lord, that my child has ears to hear Your voice. May he be attentive to Your gentle whispers and obedient to Your prompting. Give him a heart that responds quickly and joyfully to Your leading. Let him listen more to You than to the noise of the world.
Pray for Their Mouth
Proverbs 21:23 – “Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.”
Lord Jesus, I pray that my child’s words will be full of grace and wisdom. Let his speech be seasoned with love and truth, bringing encouragement and life to those around him. May the words of his mouth and the meditation of his heart always be pleasing to You.
Pray for Their Heart
Proverbs 4:23 – “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.”
Psalm 51:10 – “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Thank You, Lord, for giving my child a heart that is open and teachable. Shape it daily with Your truth. Fill his heart with love, compassion, and patience. May he love You with all his heart, soul, and strength, and trust in You wholeheartedly.
Pray for Their Arms
Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Lord, strengthen my child’s arms for the tasks ahead. May he be equipped physically, mentally, and spiritually for all that You call him to carry. Bless the work of his hands, and establish him in all he does.
Pray for Their Legs
Proverbs 4:18 – “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”
Lord Jesus, You have set a path before my child. Help him to run his race with endurance and purpose. May his legs never grow weary in doing good. Keep him steady and unwavering in his walk with You.
Pray for Their Feet
Ephesians 6:15 – “And with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”
Lord, I pray that my child’s feet will be prepared to walk in peace, purpose, and obedience. Lead him in paths of righteousness and truth. Guard his steps, and keep his foot from stumbling.
