Have you ever watched movies where your favorite actors are attacked or face life-threatening situations? You might think, “It’s over for them; they’ll never recover from this.” Then, in the next episode, something unexpected happens that changes everything. The situation takes a turn that completely alters the script, and you feel a surge of excitement and happiness for them.

Perhaps at first, David couldn’t see the table the Lord had prepared because of the enemies surrounding him. He also thought it was finished and questioned, “How on earth are things going to change?” Then, he looked closely—not with eyes that say “I’ve given up,” but with the assurance that “the Lord is with me, so I will not be afraid of ten thousand men.”

Similarly, in our lives, when we reach a breaking point, we often feel like it’s the end. We think there’s no way to rise from this situation and struggle to envision any change that could turn things around for us. Now listen, the story is not fully written. God is the one who can go back to the past, change certain things there, and then come to the present to make adjustments, before moving into the future to ensure it is well-written. It’s not over yet; something great can still happen—a turnaround beyond your comprehension. You may think it’s finished, but look again. Look closely, and you will see God working for you.

Remember the psalmist: “He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies.” Perhaps at first, David couldn’t see the table the Lord had prepared because of the enemies surrounding him. He also thought it was finished and questioned, “How on earth are things going to change?” Then, he looked closely—not with eyes that say “I’ve given up,” but with the assurance that “the Lord is with me, so I will not be afraid of ten thousand men.” He looked beyond and saw the table the Lord had prepared for him.

The Lord has prepared a table before you. Take your eyes off the problem and look with victorious eyes to see what the Lord has done. Don’t you know who you are? You are a child of God.

Now, friends, the story is not yet complete. God can change it. Don’t give up yet—it isn’t over. God is not like Hollywood or Nollywood; He is the destiny changer, the ALMIGHTY—the giver of life, the RESTORER. He can restore you. The story is not yet fully written, so don’t give up!
